The B2B Commerce Stack You've Been Looking For

Your wholesale buyers have been placing orders over WhatsApp for three years because your website doesn't understand them — no NET-30, no purchase orders, no buyer-specific pricing, no bulk discounts. Every workaround you've built costs you margin and sanity.

The distributor in Coimbatore had been a customer for eleven years. Every month, he'd WhatsApp the owner a list of what he needed, the owner would manually invoice it in Tally, and someone would email a PDF. The distributor would compare it to his purchase order, flag discrepancies, and the two would spend a Tuesday afternoon on the phone sorting it out. This had been happening for eleven years.

When we asked the brand owner why they hadn't moved this to an online ordering system, his answer was immediate: "We tried. None of the platforms understand how B2B actually works."

He was right — about the other platforms.

What B2B Actually Needs

B2B commerce has fundamentally different requirements from B2C. A wholesale buyer doesn't browse; they know what they want. They don't pay on checkout; they pay on terms. They have negotiated prices that are different from your public prices. They issue purchase orders that have to be matched against invoices. They have credit limits that need to be enforced. They buy in bulk with tiered pricing.

Taping a coupon code system onto a B2C storefront doesn't solve any of this. It creates a different, worse set of problems.

Buyer Groups and Price Lists

The foundation of QuantumOS X3's B2B stack is the buyer group. Every wholesale buyer is assigned to one or more buyer groups, and each buyer group has a price list. Price lists can be:

  • Flat percentage discounts off the standard price catalog
  • Absolute price overrides for specific SKUs
  • Volume tier pricing: buy 10 units at price A, buy 50 units at price B, buy 200+ at price C
  • Custom catalogs: buyers in a specific group only see the products available to them

When your Coimbatore distributor logs into his buyer portal, he sees his prices — not your public prices, not another distributor's prices. His catalog, his pricing, his ordering history.

Purchase Order Checkout

B2B buyers work from purchase orders. Their finance team generates a PO with a reference number, and every invoice has to reference that PO or the payment gets held. QuantumOS X3's B2B checkout includes a PO reference step: the buyer enters their PO number at checkout, it's attached to the order, and every invoice and fulfillment document carries that reference automatically.

When your buyer's accounts payable team matches invoices to POs at month end, it's a clean match — not a phone call to your sales team asking for the reference number.

NET Terms and Credit Management

The majority of B2B transactions in India do not happen on immediate payment. They happen on terms — NET-30, NET-60, sometimes NET-90 for large accounts. QuantumOS X3 supports configurable payment terms per buyer group or per individual buyer.

When a buyer places an order on NET-30 terms, the order is fulfilled and an invoice is generated with a due date 30 days out. The platform tracks the aging balance, sends automated payment reminders at configurable intervals, and enforces credit limits — if a buyer's outstanding balance exceeds their credit limit, new orders are blocked until payment is received. All of this is automatic.

One Platform, Two Business Models

The most powerful aspect of native B2B in QuantumOS X3 is that it runs on the same platform as your B2C storefront, your physical store POS, and your marketplace channels. Your inventory is unified. Your order management is unified. Your reporting is unified.

Your distributor's order and a direct consumer's order flow through the same fulfillment pipeline, with different rules applied appropriately. You don't run two businesses. You run one platform with two customer types — and the platform handles the complexity of distinguishing between them.

The brand owner in Coimbatore migrated his distributor's ordering to QuantumOS X3 in February. His Tuesday afternoon calls are now Tuesday morning confirmations — two minutes on the phone to review the automated PO match report. Eleven years of friction, gone.
